It's Time to get Started

Over the next few days I'll be ordering material and hardware for my next tent. After hours (and hours) of R & D I've decided that my original design was pretty sweet. I'm fortunate to have a sister-in-law who is both a master of the sewing machine and knowledgeable about how to make odd things fit together. While the 2006 tent was super in being air-stream and water-tight it was a bit tight and small. We'll try to add a few more inches to both the height and width. I have a second tent/canopy design that I really like and will work on that after some other projects get finished. The second tent will be much larger, more open, and lighter, but that will be seen down the road. More to come...
